Mentor 120/240/360/512 channel with motion control |
The Mentor is based on the same ISISPLUS® software that powers the Phoenix/XT range of control systems. The Mentor is available in 120, 240, 360 or 512 control channels, patchable to 1024 DMX output addresses (2 universes).
Mentor is an all-in-one, portable system, ideal for touring or for applications where the lighting desk is frequently moved. The desk does not require an external monitor, as all output information and other data is displayed via the on-board touch-screen. An SVGA monitor output is provided, should an external monitor be preferred.
Mentor offers powerful motion control functions, including the unique "Unfold" function which allocates instrument parameters to the faders for direct control. In addition, an external trackball can be used to adjust pan & tilt and all other parameters of each instrument.
Mentor is portable - an all-in-one custom-designed flight bag for the easy carrying of Mentor with cables and connectors.
Mentor offers up to 96 direct access submasters, utilising the extension wings. Each wing contains 24 faders with selection buttons & flashkeys as well as 6 macro buttons. A maximum of 4 wings can be added to the Mentor system, configurable as a maximum of 96 submasters.
The faders can also be used to control output channels directly, thus serving as a manual control system where required. Up to 120 channels can be simultaneously controlled in this way, with channel paging to allow adjustment of the maximum number of control channels. The standard Mentor with 24 faders can be used to control pages of 24 channels simultaneously.
Full Ethernet capability is included with Mentor, and it can be used on the ADB Ethernet network. Lighting takes on a whole new dimension when you can network multiple nodes such as desks, dimmers, Ethernet nodes, and visualisation programmes such as Capture, into the ADB Ethernet network, with or without cables (Wi-Fi).
