Ingenio® is a new, revolutionary lighting system providing the Lighting Designer with three major creative tools:
- A trichromatic colour generator
covering the whole spectrum; - An optical dimmer
the ultimate for dimming HMI sources; - An optical diffuser
for instant conversion of a sharp edge to a soft edge beam.
All three functions are controlled by the DMX512 signal of any lighting control desk, assigned to five successive DMX channels (according to the selected set-up). Ingenio is an integral part of the new ADB-Niethammer 1200W HMI profile spotlight with condenser optics. Adaption and retrofit to other luminaire types is available upon request.
The colour generator is fast and very reliable. It provides the Lighting Designer with instant and unlimited creative possibilities. Operating costs are practically nil compared with conventional colour changers.
The optical dimmer allows stepless dimming from 0% to 100% and a flash in less than 500ms. It makes conventional mechanical dimmers obsolete.
The optical diffuser simply provides a second spotlight at no additional cost.
