Cue-Patch 512 [Discontinued]
Cue-Patch is a multifunction solution for DMX/DMX512-A soft-patching, backup and show control. The Cue-Patch is a sophisticated rackmount unit designed to provide the following features:
The Cue-Patch is available in two versions: single DMX universe (512 channel input & output), now discontinued; or the Cue-Patch 1024, featuring dual DMX universe (1024 channel input & output). Soft patch operationAny input channel can be patched to control any group of output channels. Programming is performed either using the in-built LCD and keypad, or using the RS232 PC link. Editing of patch information is simplified by the extensive use of keypad commands such as thru, and & at. Cue & sequence playbackCue-Patch 512 can record 800 full level cues. Both units can record 20 sequences. Cues and sequences may be programmed using the LCD screen and keypad, via the remote RS232 PC link, or by recording received data. Playback is initiated from the menu controls. Additionally, any four playback or patch change commands can be assigned to the four macro keys. Cue-Patch also features an Auto-backup mode. Any cue or sequence can be selected to fade in should the received DMX512 signal fail. Cue, sequence, and patch selections can also be assigned to remote triggers (4 on 512 version). Display & analysisUsers of Micro-Scope will be familiar with the display and analysis functions provided by Cue-Patch. Received data from either universe can be displayed in a range of data formats which include bargraph, decimal and percentage. Cue-Patch is also able to transmit DMX512 test patterns for rig checking when the main console is not available. See also:
