575W Discharge Fresnel (Chrome)

The Helios architectural range from CCT is complemented by discharge versions of the Turbo Silhouette profiles and Starlette fresnel, designed especially for the architectural and display markets.

These energy-saving profiles and fresnel have an integral high-frequency electronic ballast, meaning no external control gear. A 575W MSR discharge source also provides extended lamp life, meaning less frequent access is required. All features of easy lamp change and alignment are retained.

Electronic Ballast

The high-frequency square wave electronic ballast is "flicker free" and will operate the 575W MSR discharge lamp at 96% efficiency. The ballast will automatically operate from input voltages within the rangs 90 - 132 volts and 190 - 265 volts at 50 or 60Hz.

In order to avoid high starting currents, the lamp is "soft started" at approximately 150 Watts, but the power supply wiring should be rated at 5A for 230V supplies and 10A for 120V supplies. The basic unit is non-dimmable, but dimming can be provided via the use of DMX louvre shutters.

The architectural range of Starlette fresnel & Silhouette profiles are available in black, white, or chrome. All accessories are available for these discharge models.
