Each benefits from the following advantages; specific details for each luminaire are available through the above links. Ease of Use A Series can be balanced in any position using an efficient tiltlock. Focusing and zoom lens adjustment are smooth and stable. Beam shaping on the profile is made accurate and easy by the 4 heat-insulated shutters, a drop-in iris and M-Size gobo holder. Front runners allow insertion of two colour frames in addition to the wire mesh safety guard, all of which are enclosed in a ventilated colour magazine with a hinged lid to eliminate light spill. Side loading of the effects slot allows twin gobo changeover. A Series also offers access to the lamp and lenses without tools. Quality of Light A Series luminaires utilise a spherical reflector of polished anodised aluminium, together with high-quality lenses. The combination of rugged construction of corrosion-proof injected aluminium and heat-resisting paint with simple but effective mechanical design makes the A Series an instrument for life. The A Series zoom profile was elected "Best Buy" in its category following a comparative test of 14 profiles jointly carried out in December 1992 by the British Association of Lighting Designers and the ABTT. Total Safety The A Series luminaires are built in accordance with international safety standards. Access to the inside of the spotlight is impossible without first disconnecting the power cable. An anchorage ring for safety bond is provided. All handles and adjustment knobs are heat insulated. A Series spotlights comply with the EN 60598 / IEC 598 international safety standards, have been approved by the German TUV and received the GS label (tested safety).
