ADB Cantor: Manual/Memory Lighting Control Desks [Discontinued]
Cantor 48/96 24/48/96 Channel with effects & submasters |
The Cantor family comprises a 48-channel and a 96-channel control desk. Manual or Memory - The Choice is yours! Just switch one selector and Cantor instantly changes from a simple manual desk to a powerful memory control system. Cantor desks benefit from the following:
Description
Cantor provides the ultimate in small control boards, usable in two independent modes: manual or memory. In manual mode, Cantor achieves everything that can be expected from a small preset board. Control of channels is selectable between 24-channel with two presets, 48-channel with one preset, or 96-channel with one preset over two fader pages. Cantor has 12 playback submasters for memories or effects, each with its own flash key. Whilst locked in manual mode, all other features are de-activated.
In memory mode, the Cantor changes in to a powerful memory control system, with macros, programmable lines and easy to use direct access keypad. It is possible to use the Cantor desks on their own, using the mimic LEDs (red for output, green for blind) and easy-to-read LCD displays. However, combining the desk with a colour monitor provides the ultimate in control and information display. Cantor can work in 'blind' mode, modifying memories and states without affecting the live output, and shows can be saved to a standard memocard or, via a PC-link, on 3.5" floppy disk.
Cantor features full MIDI control (in/out/thru) and any command can trigger a control sequence of up to 16 desk functions at a time. In addition, 8 external lines are available for remote triggering of upto 16 key commands. A standard audio input can trigger either the effects or each of the 12 submasters.
Any of the 96 channels can be defined in the menu to operate as a colour changer channel. Cantor automatically bypasses all master faders for these channels, thus avoiding visible colour changes during fades. Whenever a cue containing colour changer channels is driven out on stage via the playback or the submasters, first these channels are sent immediately to their appropriate end value without following the faders' movement, and then the intensities follow taking the fade times into account.
Cantor is the ideal small board for theatre, live music events and TV applications.
