ADB Tango: Manual/Memory Lighting Control Desks [Discontinued]
The family comprises the Tango 24 and the Tango 48, both offering single and dual preset operation. Each desk benefits from the following:
Description
Tango 24 and 48 utilise state-of-the-art microcomputer technology to provide a lighting control system with features and facilities normally associated with much more expensive consoles. Tango has been specifically designed to be user friendly in operation, a further benefit to the user! The use of high quality components, sophisticated assembly techniques and thorough pre-despatch testing guarantee long life and trouble free operation.
Channel control is via high quality faders in either single or dual preset operation, together with 24/48 flashkeys. Mimic LEDs show the actual level of each channel. Grandmaster level and blackout functions are provided.
In single preset mode the full 24/48 channels can be controlled, making this mode ideal for recording memories. In dual-preset mode two presets of 12/24 channels can be controlled, with crossfades between the presets run in manual and timed modes.
The latest generation of Tango control desks now offers a 'Submaster Mode', allowing channel faders to be operated as submasters by using the <aux> key. Tango offers 24/48 submasters.
A total of 999 memories can be programmed, with numbering from 1 - 999 with upto 5 inserts between each. Direct access is available for easy memory modification. DMX output can be soft-patched to upto 96 dimmers for flexibility. Memories are stored on the internal flash memory, or can be saved to a 128 kB memory card for backup or use on another console.
The effect master panel controls effect time, mode, direction, and intensity. 24/48 pre-defined effect patterns plus 1 user-programmed effect can be selected.
Tango offers remote operation of the start/go crossfade control and the effect start/step functions, each controlled by any contact-closing switch.
All Tango consoles output DMX512 data via a galvanically isolated connector. Optionally, analogue outputs can be fitted to provide 370 µ and + 10 VDC control for each channel.
