Vision 10/ST is a memory lighting control system that is completely flexible, adaptable, and professional. The lighting desk operates with ADB's ISIS software, with all the advantages this offers over previous Vision 10 software versions. The main features of the system are described below.
The front panel consists of six interchangeable standard modules and two optional modules, configurable to the operator's requirements. The front panel also features a display panel showing the contents of the submasters, the active work field and the clock. Vision supports up to four monitors, making every function and feature instantly available, and offers MIDI, SMPTE time-code and RS485 interfaces - all within an elegant design and high level professional finish. The front panel modules are:
- two modules of 12 submasters with flash keys, selection keys and manual faders allowing the creation, recording and playback of lighting cues, as well as playback of special effects
- one channel / memory selection module with two separate keypads and intensity control wheel
- one playback module with crossfade (stage & preset), sequential or non-sequential, manual or automatic
- one special effect and general function module (giving access to menus, macros, monitors, etc)
- one master module with grand master, auditorium master and blackout key
- on-board display of stage and preset contents (playback), intensity levels, active memory and selected effect and channel numbers
- optional second playback module
- optional motion control module for motorised luminaires and other DMX512 instruments
The internal processing unit of the Vision lighting desk is based on a high-speed CPU. This, coupled with the optimised ISIS 32-bit software and large internal hard disk storage provide the ultimate lighting control system.
Vision 10 Extension Options
The optional motion control module for moving lights and other instruments controlled by a DMX signal provides the operator with intuitive and extremely ease-to-use controls.
The operating power of this module makes it a console within the console.
A second playback module with crossfade (stage and preset) is available, for direct access to the second playback sequence available from the ISIS software.
Vision 10/RB Backup Crate
AS an option, the Vision 10/ST desk can be used with the Vision 10/RB crate - a lighting control system with identical operational capabilities as the Vision 10/ST desk, without the front control panel. It contains a CPU card, power supply, an input/output card and keyboard entry. The standard version includes a monitor and alphanumeric keyboard to provide access to all the main functions of the main Vision system. The RB crate is intended for use a 19" rack or as a stand-alone tower, primarily as a back-up unit to the main desk.
