CCT Turbo Silhouette Range: 1000/1200W
The Turbo Silhouette profiles are an updated version of the original 1kW Silhouette range, which has proved popular with many users. The new range covers the beam angles 11° to 58° with the addition of the new wide-angle lenstube.
The extra light that can be found in this range when compared with the previous generation comes from a unique front reflector, which collects light that would otherwise just heat up the front casting, and redirects it back into the main reflector.
The lenstubes are ruggedly constructed of aluminium extrusion, steel end-plates and an aluminium lid which, as the edges lock into grooves in the extruded side wall, creates a rigid octagonal box section. The lens carriers run in extruded slots supported by non-metal runners that are not affected by the heat. The slots are masked by an internal baffle - so no light spill.
The Silhouette lamphouse is constructed of aluminium extrusion monuted on an aluminium casting with steel baffles and back plate. The lenstubes mount on studs from the casting, and between these studs sits the rotatble shutter set. The yoke mounts on the extrusion or on the lenstube, and it has two height adjustments to allow high or low mounting. In the high position, the yoke is free to rotate all the way around the back of the lamphouse.
A full complement of accessories is available, from a rotatable gobo holder or drop-in iris, to a hand-operated colour changer for followspot use.
Extra-wide model available
The latest arrival in the Turbo Silhouette range is the extra wide angle lenstube which, by using a triple-lens system, avoids most of the 'pin-cushion' effect found on most competing units. It goes so wide that when used soft-edged, it can double as a fresnel! This luminaire is excellent for gobo projection and short throw work.
A full complement of accessories is available, from a rotatable gobo holder or drop-in iris, to a hand-operated colour changer for followspot use.
Turbo Silhouette followspot available
The Z00TY model is available as an 11/26 degree followspot, complete with iris and manual colour changer. The handle at the rear of the unit, together with the lens handles assists in followspot operation.
